Prior to joining Mistral and Trimaran, Mr. Whitney was an Associate with AEA Investors LLC. Prior to AEA, Mr. Whitney was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at JPMorgan / The Beacon Group.
Mr. Whitney currently serves on the Board of Directors of El Pollo Loco, Inc.
Mr. Whitney received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College graduating cum laude, an M.Sc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
